Rationale

Kethis, the Hidden Hand was banned in Pioneer to disrupt a problematic combo deck structure. The ban was enacted alongside other major combo inclusions, such as *Underworld Breach* and *Inverter of Truth*, to quell instances where the format risked losing to combo kills during the early to mid-game. The decision was based on the assessment that Kethis-led combo decks were showing signs of problematic power and could exacerbate the overall instability of the competitive metagame.
